Dr. Melissa Charnesky is a board-certified otolaryngologist specializing in comprehensive ear, nose, and throat care. She is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered treatment while offering the latest advances in medical and surgical therapies for both adults and children.
Dr. Charnesky distinguished herself academically at the University of Michigan and earned the rare honor of early acceptance into the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine where she received her medical degree with honors. She completed her surgical internship and residency in Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery, and Facial Plastic Surgery through the Michigan State University affiliated hospitals. To further refine her expertise, she completed a fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
Over the course of her career, Dr. Charnesky has practiced in both Michigan and Ohio, building a reputation for clinical excellence and compassionate care. She is now proud to bring her expertise to the greater Tampa community. In addition to her clinical work, she holds an academic appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she is dedicated to teaching and mentoring the next generation of physicians.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling, playing golf, and spending time with her family, including her two beloved basset hounds.
